This process has finally become available to all of us. . . wind turbines for the home will provide the power for your home and/or small business. The general public doesn’t usually know that their public electrical utility company doesn’t have it’s own wind electricity-generating equipment, that said, there is still a high probability that some of the power they send you has been generated by the wind. Even the most casual observer should know that this fact is very important to them since utility bills never stop increasing – you need to think carefully about wind turbines for the home.

Here’s a really good article on wind turbines for the home, click the following link to check out Wind Turbines For The Home – Free Lifetime Electricity Savings!

Because you have a big desire to educate yourself on how to lower your utility bill rates, there’s not a doubt in the world that you wince every time you open your electrical bill and realize that your utilities provider has raised your rates again. It is a reasonable surety that this trend will continue throughout our lives and the lives of our children unless it is stopped in its tracks by wind turbines for the home. Homeowners like you are turning to green money-saving technologies like wind turbines for the home to save themselves big bucks off the utility bill at the end of the month – there are so many choices to make. . .but don’t be confused – we’ll clear that right up!

Here’s a very well-written article on wind turbines for the home which is also a must-read, you don’t want to miss:

What should you do? Renewable energy technologies like wind turbines for the home are a wise choice. Wind turbines for the home are a super easy and fast approach to saving money as well as being something you can depend on for the long haul. Is this my only choice? No way – but wind turbines for the home can be used by themselves as part of a system of electrical production, easily combined with other approaches like solar energy.

Choosing the correct height for your support tower and determining the average wind speed are important considerations along with site placement. Assuming that you have good wind availability (most people have more than they realize), you can quickly and economically build your own wind turbines for the home with only everyday hand tools found in most garages or storage sheds. Don’t think that you can’t do this, remember that the construction of wind turbines for the home has been done by even little old ladies who were determined to save money – money-saving wind generators are extremely easy to construct by everyone so if you can use a paintbrush or make a sandwich – you’re ready to start.

Many types of tower and mount installations can be selected from during the DIY building and installation of wind turbines for the home. Fixed, freestanding, tilt-up and guyed towers are very popular for the homeowner, small business owner, farmers and ranchers who want to economize on their electricity bills each month. As with most technology installations, the optimum type of tower will depend on your location, whether or not you have neighbors close by and factors that may affect the flow of wind over your property.

Wind is much like water as it flows/blows over the earth, following the easiest path available and being slowed by obstacles in its way. The best way to calculate potential wind benefits is to take them several feet off the ground although most often, wind benefits are greater the higher you position your equipment into the air. A large wind generator just a few feet off the ground may not produce energy as efficiently as a small one placed higher on a tower to catch more available wind.

Around the world, the use of wind and wind turbines for the home are being used on a much wider scale, assisting homeowners in the replacement of expensive electrical power from the utility companies with very low cost, green-friendly power using wind as an alternative energy technology that can save you a lot of money throughout your lifetime.

I’d like to welcome PicoTurbine to our eco friendly community. They are not only pioneers of turbine technology but also ambassadors of the education for our young people to facilitate the future. Here’s what they have to say about their company’s vision…

PicoTurbine provides kits, books, and projects for the purpose of advancing the use of renewable (alternative) energy and inspiring students to look into the future. Our concentration is on Wind Energy; however, we offer a wide range of other renewable energy education items for fifth grade and up.

There is a an old adage which states: “Tell me, and I will forget. Show me, and I might remember some of it. Involve me, and I will master it”, which has been tried and tested. It has become a core concept of PicoTurbine. We provide renewable energy education products that encourage young people to learn hands-on and “see for themselves”.

Our products on their basic levels offer you the ability to produce electricity on a small scale. With further experimentation you can end up producing much higher levels of electricity. We suggest our Enhancer Section as the best starting point in giving you the ability to create more power. Test yourself and see how far your imagination can take you. Feel free to contact us along the way to help guide you on your “future” journey to learning about Renewable Energy.

I would like to welcome Paul from Alternate Power Technologies to our eco friendly community. His company specializes in creating turbines to collect wind energy and provide the hard to find parts for DIY enthusiasts.

Here’s what he has to say about their cause. “Our small company has specialized in building small variable pitch wind turbines, the pinnacle of efficient design. But, unlike many other companies, we have extended ourselves even further by offering a number of useful hard-to-get parts for those who wish to build their own energy producing devices. These are typically motivated individuals who enjoy the challenge of building these devices using their own good ideas. With that in mind, we offer two areas on our website which highlight meaningful videos and ideas along those lines. We are strong supporters of this devoted group of people who do more than lip service to our precious environment.”

So please visit his website if you’ve ever had an inclining to create your own environmentally friendly energy source. Sustainable energy will be one of the major challenges our children and grand children will face. Pioneers like Paul are making it readily available today.
